CHILDREN

​Here at Grace Baptist, we believe the Bible teaches children are a blessing and should be cared for and loved.  We also believe that from a young age, children should learn the Bible and be taught about God’s love for them.

For children under the age of four, our loving nursery workers provide a clean and safe environment.  Parents can have peace of mind while they attend church.  If needed, parents will be reached during the service via text message.  We welcome children in the nursery during Sunday School and all other services.  A separate infant side and toddler side are available to keep your children happy and occupied.  For nursing mothers, there is a private nursing area that can be utilized upon request.  From the moment you enter our nursery, you will get a sense of a caring and loving environment which stems from our dedicated and trained nursery staff.

During the Sunday School hour each Sunday morning, young children can participate in a class designed to help them understand the truths of the Bible on their level.  It is amazing how much children will learn in a classroom setting where they can learn the Bible each week!  The teachers are dedicated and excited to be a small part of the life of your child.

While the adults enjoy the Sunday Morning Worship Service, children are welcome to participate in Children’s Church.  Geared for children up through age 5, Children’s Church is a time when children are taught lessons like the importance of obedience, being kind, and sharing!  Most importantly, they will learn Who Jesus is, and the fact that God loves them and made them for a unique purpose. They will come home singing new songs, quoting verses they have memorized, displaying their crafts, and sharing with you important truths they are learning from the Bible.

It is also our desire is to provide a time when the family can train their young children to participate in the regular church services.  During the Sunday PM and Wednesday PM services, children who are age four and older are welcome and encouraged to sit with their parents.  You will find our church to be family-friendly…always encouraging church activities to be done as a family!  Church is certainly an important aspect of a Christian family.  How exciting it is to see young children learn over a period of time to sit still, participate, and enjoy the singing and preaching!
